The soil of Calderara, a mixture of black pumice and basalt, enhances the typical minerality of the Carricante variety.


Our Etna DOC Bianco Contrada Calderara is golden straw-colored. On the nose, it welcomes us with hints of lemon flowers, elderflower, chamomile, bergamot, sage and fresh oregano that intertwine with white peach and yellow plum. On the palate it releases saline vitality enhancing the sinuous body. A White destined for longevity.

Vinificazione

Vinificazione

Cold maceration for about 24 hrs, followed by cold setting; 40% of the must ferments in French oak tonneaux, the remaining part in cement tanks.

12 mounths, 40% in French oak tonneaux on yeast,the remaining part in cement tank.
